WARNING: ONLY USE REFRIGERANT MARKED ON THE GAUGE WITH THIS A/C MANIFOLD GAUGE SET (R134A, R22, R12, R404A). Check the integrity of the product and the accuracy of the gauge needle (calibrate by adjusting the calibration screw) before using.
Connect the hoses: - Blue Hose: LP Hose Connector to Blue Coupler - Red Hose: HP Hose Connector to Red Coupler - Yellow Hose: A. Diagnostic Check: Charging Hose Connector to Charge Valve B. Evacuation: Charging Hose Connector to refrigerant recovery system/vacuum pump C. Charging: Charging Hose Connector to refrigerant supply with Can Tap
Close LP Manifold Valve, HP Manifold Valve, both Couplers, and Can Tap. Attach Blue Coupler to LP port and Red Coupler to HP port on A/C system. Operate the vehicle and A/C system, read pressures, and compare to manufacturer's recommendations.
Evacuate the system by opening both Couplers, LP Manifold Valve, HP Manifold Valve, and running the vacuum pump until the recommended level is reached.
Charge the system by connecting the refrigerant can/cylinder, opening the Blue Coupler and LP Manifold Valve, and monitoring the Sight Glass and Blue LP gauge to fill per manufacturer's specs.
Carefully disconnect the Couplers when finished, as hoses may contain residual refrigerant.
