If your machine is not listed, please consult with us to ensure compatibility.
Selecting the Right Bobbin Choosing the correct bobbin for your machine is crucial. To help you make the right decision, we've outlined a three-step process:
Step 1: Bobbin Size There are over 20 different bobbin sizes, but the A, L, and M sizes cover more than 85% of the machines on the market. Check the size of your machine's bobbin or refer to our yearly updated model list to find the perfect fit.
Step 2: Bobbin Type We offer three types of bobbins: Plastic Sided (P), Cardboard (C), and Sideless (X). Plastic Sided bobbins are the most common and stable option, suitable for all machine types. Cardboard bobbins have a plastic core but paper sides, which may hold more thread but offer less support. Sideless bobbins are the cheapest but also the most problematic, so we no longer sell them in the USA and Europe.
Step 3: Thread Color, Type, and Size Our prewound bobbins are available in a variety of colors, including white, black, and over 30 other shades. The thread types we offer include Spun Polyester, Filament Polyester, and DTY Filament Polyester, each with its own weight and characteristics.
