Janome Skyline S9 Indigo Sewing and Embroidery Machine
The Skyline S9 is the first machine in its series to include both sewing and embroidery capabilities. Equipped with wireless connectivity, this machine allows for easy transfer of embroidery designs from an iPad or computer directly to the machine. Additionally, the manufacturer has developed five remarkable iPad apps to enhance the embroidery experience, including AcuDesign, AcuEdit, AcuMonitor, AcuSetter, and AcuSketch.
The Skyline S9 offers a wide range of features to ensure all projects are beautifully and easily executed. With a maximum embroidery size of 6.7" x 7.9" and sewing speeds of 1000 SPM, the machine provides a comprehensive suite of powerful capabilities. Navigating through these impressive features is made easy with the Skyline S9's LCD color touchscreen.
The machine comes equipped with 250 built-in embroidery designs, including 40 exclusive designs from Anna Maria Horner, as well as 10 fonts for monogramming and 48 border designs. The AcuFeed Flex layered fabric feeding system, with changeable feet, caters to a variety of quilting and difficult fabric sewing needs.
The Skyline S9 boasts a range of convenient features, such as a start/stop button, reverse function, locking stitch, needle up/down, thread cutter, and an automatic presser foot lift. The machine also includes three hoops (FA10a - 3.9"x1.6", SQ14a 5.5"x5.5", RE20a 6.7"x7.9") to accommodate various embroidery projects.
The machine's full-color 5" touchscreen allows users to adjust stitching and edit embroidery with options for resizing, rotating, flipping, monogramming in an arc, dragging, re-editing, and laying out 2 and 3 letter monograms. Furthermore, the one-step needle plate conversion eliminates the need for a screwdriver, and the 23 presser feet included cater to a wide range of sewing and embroidery needs. The Skyline S9 also comes with a knee lifter and AcuGuide cloth guide for added convenience.
